DANKI KOREAN · SOURCES

Writing animation credits

The hero shows animated 한, while the Library and Review previews show animated 사과 and ㅑ writing guides.

Hangul stroke source

The underlying stroke shapes and order adapt Hangeul Stroke Order Diagrams by Adam Stone, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0. A copy of the license is available here. No upstream endorsement is implied.

Website adaptation

Danki Korean's six-stroke guide for 한 scales the source paths, rounds their line caps, and times their reveal over five seconds. For the hero, the animated SVG starts 2.1 seconds into that loop so ㅎ is already drawn while ㅏ and ㄴ continue. The animation remains under CC BY-SA 4.0. The surrounding phone image is a capture of the Danki Korean app.

Library word

The nine-stroke 사과 animation uses Danki Korean's HangulStrokeData shapes and order, which adapt Adam Stone's diagrams under CC BY-SA 4.0. It reveals the licensed 210 OmniGothic 030 word outline; no font software is included. The animation appears over an actual app capture. Reduced-motion visitors see the still capture.

Review jamo

The animated ㅑ guide comes from the approved Danki Korean jamo animation set. Its stroke order adapts Adam Stone's diagrams under CC BY-SA 4.0 and uses the licensed 210 OmniGothic 030 font silhouette; no font software is included. The website changes only its timing: the first stroke waits two seconds, and the completed glyph holds for five seconds before replay. The animation appears over an actual app capture. Reduced-motion visitors see the completed guide in that capture.
